The 47th European Prosthodontic Association (EPA) Conference under the presidency of Prof.dr Teresa Sierpińska will be held in Bialystok, Poland on September 19 - 21, 2024.
On behalf of myself and the Organizing Committee, I kindly invite you to the 47th EPA Congress, which will be held in Białystok, located in Podlasie – one of the most picturesque and green regions of Poland.
Locating the event in a city with one of the most important medical academic centers in Poland, in the surroundings of all possible natural wonders that the Białystok area hides, was no accident. In such an environment, the acquisition and updating of knowledge will gain a whole new dimension.
Our event will be hosted by the Prosthodontics Section of the Polish Dental Association and the Medical University of Białystok, which has been functioning at a high level for more than 70 years. Learning in Białystok gains even more flavor when you add that the headquarters of the university authorities is the 18th-century Baroque Palace, known as the Versailles of the North. The gates, courtyards, gardens and museums located on the campus are sure to captivate all Congress attendees.
No matter in which direction from Białystok you set off to get to know Podlasie, its tradition, culture or nature, you will find that calling this part of the country the Green Lungs of Poland is not an exaggeration. Nature abounds with a variety of plant and animal species, and in many places it is captivating in its nativeness and wildness.
However, you are heading to Poland first of all for knowledge, that represents the highest level, is verified, essential for everyday art of dentistry, as well as inspiring for the development of our field. EPA Congress is one of the most important events in the calendar of prosthodontists from around the world. Regardless of your involvement in the functioning of the EPA, the EPA Congress is a platform for sharing knowledge and experience for you as well.
We assure you that Białystok and Podlasie value multi-culturalism, which participants will recognize – seeking some relaxation after interesting lectures and discussions – by exploring the culture or architecture of the region. We are confident that together we will find a good platform here to prove and solidify the thesis that occlusion is the key to prosthetic treatment.
